Using VMWare or a Remote Terminal Connection is considered as logging into a remote computer because although you are not at the computer physically you have use of the remote computer's desktop to operate it as if you were physically at the computer.
While logged into a remote computer a user is able to run applications such as CopySafe PDF Reader and if "remote view" has been enabled by the author of the document the document will open and display.
While a copy protected document is open on the desktop of the remote computer it may be protected by the Copysafe Runtime but the screen view is not protected on the user's computer and he will be able to Printscreen and screen capture. The screen view is not protected on the user's computer in this case because Copysafe PDF Reader is not running on his computer (it's running on the remote computer) and it may not even be installed.
So enabling "remote view" when converting Copysafe PDF documents is not recommended. The option has been included for use in special cases where a corporate network may be dependent on remote view.
