| The first edition of this book was well accepted among faculty members, students and strategists. However, the first edition has been on the market for more than a decade. This therefore makes it imperative for second edition to be published based on the following reasons: first, after fourteen years since the first edition of this book was published, a book of this nature requires updates considering happenings in the global market space. Academically, a number of the articles, books, and other citations relied on in the first edition has been modified, updated and even in some instances, there has been a change in their earlier position on some aspect of the subject. This therefore makes it imperative for a second edition of this book to be published. Issues such as strategy and ethics and corporate governance have received considerable attention in recent times following the collapse of some financial institutions in Ghana and happenings in the global space. This second edition takes cognizance of these issues and therefore dedicates two chapters to discuss issues of business ethics and corporate governance which were treated as subtopics in the first edition of this book. |
